What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

The Trinity

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are equal in every divine perfection and execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption.

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

Salvation

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice and are, therefore, under condemnation. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. The Holy Spirit empowers believers for witness and service, and gifts them for the building up of the church.
